Why This Program Exists

Early high school is one of the hardest stages for boys — physically, socially and emotionally.

And there's almost nothing designed to support them through it.

At 12–15, boys are in a no-man's-land:

Too young for the gym

Gyms don't allow under-15s, and even if they did, the environment isn't designed for younger teens who still need supervision, guidance and form correction.

Too old for kids' fitness

"Junior" programs feel childish or embarrassing. Boys this age want independence, not cartoon mascots or babyish workouts.

Influenced by comparison culture

They're constantly seeing "perfect bodies" online, which creates confusion about strength, size, muscle, diets and supplements — often before they're emotionally ready.

Their bodies are changing faster than they can understand

Strength, coordination, emotions, appetite, sleep… everything shifts at once. And they don't yet have the tools to navigate it confidently.

They want guidance — but not from Mum or Dad

Even the most supportive boys start tuning out messages about food, movement, posture, sleep and confidence when it comes from a parent. And they desperately need a positive male fitness role model.

This is the gap Baynes Boys Bootcamp fills.

A safe, structured, boy-friendly training and wellbeing program that teaches the right things at the right time, in a way boys actually respond to.

It's not a gym.

It's not kids' fitness.

It's not another online course they won't do.

It's the pre-gym solution every parent wishes existed — until now.

Who It's For

Baynes Boys Bootcamp is designed specifically for boys aged 12–15 (Years 7–9) — the years where they want independence, but still need guidance, structure and support.

It's for boys who:

  • Want to feel stronger, more confident and more capable
  • Are frustrated they can't join a gym yet
  • Want someone to show them how to move safely and properly
  • Are starting to compare themselves to others and don't know what's normal
  • Love sport and want to feel fitter, faster or more powerful (or aren't into sport but still want to feel good in their body)
  • Want small wins that build momentum each week
  • Want a positive space that feels real, not childish or cringe

And it's for mums who:

  • Want your son to feel confident and strong — without pressure
  • Want safe, age-appropriate strength training from a qualified PT
  • Feel relieved to have a positive alternative as the under-16 social media bans begin
  • Want reinforcement for the things he may no longer listens to you about (protein, breakfast, sleep, recovery, puberty, confidence)
  • Want visibility and reassurance without needing to manage anything
  • Want your son to have a trusted male role model online
  • Want him to understand his body without shame or comparison
  • Want a meaningful Christmas gift that actually helps him grow

In short: this program is for boys in early high school — and the mums who want them supported, confident and safe.

What this program helps your son feel and experience:

Stronger in his body

He learns proper form, builds real strength and notices progress quickly — without pressure or comparison.

Small weekly wins help him feel capable, proud and more in control of his own body and choices.

Fitter and more energised

Scalable cardio challenges make movement feel achievable, not overwhelming — and he feels the difference in sport and everyday life.

Prepared for the gym when the time comes

He builds the fundamentals of strength training safely and correctly, so when he is old enough for the gym, he'll already know exactly what to do — with confidence and proper technique.

More comfortable with a changing body

He gains age-appropriate insight into puberty, comparison culture, body changes and healthy habits — without awkwardness.

Clear on what to do and how to do it

Short weekly videos, simple challenges and daily prompts give him structure and momentum he can follow easily.

Proud of himself

He finishes the program feeling stronger, more confident and equipped with habits he can carry forward (and into the continuing community).

Benefits for Mums

Why mums love this program:

You know he's learning safely

Age-appropriate strength training from a qualified PT means he isn't copying unsafe moves from TikTok or older kids at school.

You get support without doing the work

He gets structure, guidance and encouragement each week — and you don't need to supervise, remind or manage any of it.

You finally have a positive alternative to social media

A safe, moderated community with real behavioural standards gives him a place to belong without comparison pressure.

You're backed up on the things he won't hear from you

Protein, breakfast, sleep, movement, body changes, confidence — hearing it from Trent lands differently.

You stay informed without hovering

Weekly Parent Preview emails give you visibility into what he's learning, without needing to get involved.

You see his confidence grow

He becomes stronger, more resilient and more sure of himself — and you can see the change in how he carries himself.

You're giving a genuinely meaningful Christmas gift

Not a gadget, not a fad — something he'll actually use, enjoy and benefit from in early high school.

You know he's in a safe space

Everything is supervised, moderated and designed with zero tolerance for bullying or unsafe fitness messaging.

A program created because a mum saw a gap — and teamed up with a trainer she trusts.

Baynes Boys Bootcamp began when Naomi Korolew, mum of a 13-year-old boy, saw her son becoming more aware of his body, frustrated he couldn't go to the gym yet, and starting to compare himself to others.

She realised there was nothing safe, positive or age-appropriate to support boys in these "pre-gym" years — and wanted something that would help her own son feel confident, capable and supported.

Naomi approached her personal trainer, Trent Baynes, a qualified PT and father of young children, to co-create a program that would give boys:

  • safe, form-first strength guidance
  • simple movement habits
  • confidence and body awareness
  • a positive alternative to comparison culture
  • a trusted male role model
  • and a safe, supervised community

Together, they designed a program built on professional expertise + real lived experience of what boys in early high school are going through.

Built for safety, clarity and positive connection.

Built for Safety & Trust

  • Designed specifically for boys aged 12–15
  • Structured, supervised and age-appropriate
  • Form-first movement and safe strength progression
  • Moderated community with zero tolerance for bullying
  • Weekly visibility for parents
  • Real behavioural standards and professional oversight

Be part of the very first intake

This is the launch of something genuinely new — created by a mum who needed this for her own son, and built with a trainer she trusted.

  • Lifetime access to all future rounds
  • Founding Boys status
  • A place in the community as it grows

Your son becomes part of the beginning of something supportive, positive and built with love.
